TOGEAU

Togeau is an alternative-appalachian band born out of Southwest Virginia but members reach from far north in the US, to overseas. The music of Togeau brings an indie folk style to a classic singer/songwriter sound with intensely personal vocals, a sincere and different layered sustaining sound, and with the classic string, percussion, and keys accompaniment. The music forces the listener to taste the bitterness of life, allowing one to reflect on internal strife and loneliness while also feeling the weight of hope, grace, and powerful love that is found in the darkest corners of day-to-day life.
