ellipses

ellipses is ambient artist Ant Beloch (they/them) based in upstate New York.

ellipses finds the spark for their music in the beauty of nature, the vastness of space, the strength and camaraderie found in loved ones and community, and the organic music that the world creates all on its own.

They utilize field recordings and samples to create sonic landscapes. ellipses explores the world with the intention of hearing what we often miss in our day to day; from the birds telling each other stories to the wind letting us know when the next storm rolls in, they capture sounds meant to continue the poetry nature creates while we live our lives. Nature is not their only collaborative partner, ellipses also enjoys and is inspired by creating with other artists.

ellipses is steadfast in their belief that artistic expression and creativity are fundamental to dismantling oppressive systems. They hope their music can help you slow down, be present in your world, build community, and find your own inspiration.
