HILU is the Berlin-based project of Ali-Al Hilu, a house and techno producer, DJ and guitarist born in Kuwait in 1990. His artist profiles place him in Berlin and describe his work as rooted in minimal techno, deep house and tech house.

Built around a hybrid club identity, HILU’s sets and productions combine melodic and minimal techno with groovy deep and tech-house rhythms. His own profile highlights live DJ sets that bring together original productions and guitar riffs, giving the project a performance-led signature as well as a producer identity.

Resident Advisor lists Hilu as Ali Al-Hilu, based in Germany, and describes him as a DJ, live guitar performer, producer and Diplom Audio Engineer. His recent online presence spans SoundCloud, Mixcloud, YouTube and Linktree, with SoundCloud uploads including original tracks, edits and live sets.
