Connect a Google Domains domain
Add two DNS records to point your domain at your Artist Kit page.
The records to add
Google Domains was acquired by Squarespace in 2023. Existing Google domains are now managed at Squarespace Domains, so these steps use the Squarespace DNS panel.
Before you start
Connect your domain in the Artist Kit editor first (Settings → Domain on a Pro plan). The editor reveals your exact records, especially your unique www value, which you copy below.

The A record points your bare domain (yourdomain.com) at Artist Kit. Use 216.150.1.1.
Your www value is unique to your page. Copy the exact value shown in Settings → Domain. The value is a string of letters and numbers followed by .vercel-dns-016.com.
Both records make www.yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com work. SSL is issued automatically once DNS propagates, usually within a few minutes.
Step-by-step
Open your domain's DNS settings
Select your domain, then open DNS (or DNS Settings) and find the custom records section.
Add the A record
Add a record with Host @, Type A, and Data 216.150.1.1.
Add the CNAME record
Add a record with Host www, Type CNAME, and Data set to the exact www value from your Artist Kit editor (the value ends in .vercel-dns-016.com).
Remove conflicting records
Delete any default parking or forwarding records on @ or www so they don't override your new records, then save.
After saving, DNS changes usually take a few minutes to propagate. Artist Kit verifies the connection automatically and issues SSL once the domain is live.
